Preorder for the latest iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus has finally started in Malaysia. The latest smartphones from Apple will go on sale here starting from next Friday, 20 October 2017, but if you wish to secure yourself a unit, you may preorder from selected authorised Apple resellers, as well as from our local telcos.
Make your preorder online from authorised Apple resellers in Malaysia. For now, it looks like the preorder is only available from Machines and Switch. Other authorised resellers such as Mac City, MacStudio, Harvey Norman, SenHeng and senQ only lets you register your interest starting today.
Check out Machines or Switch to make your preorder now. Both authorised Apple resellers are offering all variants of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, in 64GB or 256GB storage option, with your colour choice of either silver, gold, or space gray. As expected, the retail prices are as follows:
- 64GB iPhone 8 – RM3,649
- 256GB iPhone 8 – RM4,399
- 64GB iPhone 8 Plus – RM4,149
- 256GB iPhone 8 Plus – RM4,899
Do note that you will need to make full payment when you preorder from Machines or Switch.
If you do not wish to pay almost RM5,000 to get the latest iPhones, preorder from our local telcos and get the iPhone 8 at a subsidised price. All major telcos in Malaysia are now taking preorder for the iPhone 8 – get it from as low as RM1,970 from Maxis, from RM83/month with Celcom, from RM2,170 with Digi, or from RM2,140 with U Mobile.
For preorder, Maxis is only offering the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with a traditional contract. The telco is not offering the iPhone 8 with its Zerolution bundle for now. Preorder now from Maxis’ website.
