UberTRIP Begins Operations In Perak

UberTRIP Perak

Uber has introduced UberTRIP in Perak, allowing customers to order cars for long term rides. The idea is that people will be able to book a car for blocks of at least four hours at a time. Allowing them to have a dedicated driver for their trip around the state.

Passengers in Perak can book an UberTRIP through the regular Uber app. Only the first destination needs to be keyed into the app at the beginning, and from there the passenger is free to direct his new driver to go anywhere within a reasonable distance.

That said, UberTRIP is not exactly cheap. Rides start at RM140 for the first four hours, with an additional RM0.60 for every minute after the first block is up.

To help tourists get around, Uber has also included three suggest trips for those visiting Perak. The first is a trip from Ipoh to Gopeng – with stops at Gua Tempurung, Gaharu Tea Plantation, and Kellie’s Castle. A second recommendation is set up for the heritage row in Perak; and the final suggestion going between Ipoh and Kuala Kangsar.
