Logitech Is Bringing The Trackball Back With The MX ERGO

Does anyone remember when trackballs were a thing? Logitech does, and it wants to remind people that these were once rather popular. The Logitech MX ERGO reintroduces the concept and combines it with modern wireless technology.

New to the trackball design is an adjustable hinge. Allowing users to find an angle that suits them best. According to Logitech, this reduces the potential for strain related injuries by 20 percent compared to a regular mouse. Provided that the user is using it correctly.

Seeing that this is a Logitech product, it also features the company’s new Flow multi-computer interface. This essentially allows people to control more than one machine at a time, and switch between the them with a click of a button. More importantly, it’s designed to allow for the quick transfer of files between computers.

The Logitech MX ERGO is set to appear in North America in September, with no information on global availability. It’ll be set to sold for an impressive $99.99 (about RM420), which may mean that it’s not going to be for everyone.
