In a world where practically every single PC component is now being RGB-lit, the time has finally come for M.2 SSDs to get some pampering as as well. Yes, that’s right folks, your fantasies of having a rave party-like desktop is finally coming true as M.2 SSDs are now brighter than ever. One company that showcased its M.2 SSDs is V-Color.

V-Color has unveiled the VLM100 M.2 SSD at its booth during Computex 2017. Aside from looking like a new year’s eve fireworks show, V-Color’s newest M.2 SSD also come with read and write speeds of up to 550MBps and 480MBps respectively. Interestingly, the company had also boldly displayed, on a poster, that its RGB M.2 SSDs have indeed been patented.

That aside, the VLM100 M.2 SSD is also available in three storage capacities: 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB. When it comes to dimensions, the VLM100 M.2 SSD measures in at 80mm x 22mm x 3.8mm and it also only weighs around 6.3 grams. According to V-Color, the VLM100 will be accompanied with a three-year warranty as well.

We’ve seen plenty of PC components being blessed with RGB lighting this year, from CPU coolers, to PSUs and now, M.2 SSDs too.
