Celcom recently announced that they will stop offering WiFiPlus, the telco’s own wireless internet service. Celcom WiFiPlus was previously offered for free to all Celcom First subscribers on selected Celcom First postpaid plans. The service will now longer be available from 16 May 2017 onwards.

Celcom WiFiPlus allow subscribers to stay connected at the telco’s Wi-Fi hotspots all around the country. The WiFiPlus packages starts from RM2 for 500MB a day all the way to RM18 for 4GB a month. However, it has been offered for free to Celcom subscribers on selected Celcom postpaid plans including First Gold, First Blue, First Elite, First Basic 85 and First Basic 38.

Celcom WiFiPlus zones are available in business centres, offices, hotels, restaurants, malls, theme parks, stadiums, airports and more. As long as there is a WiFiPlus sticker, you can connect to Celcom WiFiPlus. Sadly though, by 16 May 2017, Celcom will stop offering WiFiPlus altogether, so if you use WiFiPlus constantly, don’t be surprised to see it gone by next week.
