GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Custom Cards Now Available In Malaysia

GIGABYTE was one of the earliest manufacturers that have released their Founders Edition variant of GeForce GTX 1080 Ti in Malaysia last month. However, gamers that prefer custom version instead are not being left in the dark as well since the company also released three other GTX 1080 Ti variants in our market.

Leading the line-up is the most powerful GTX 1080 Ti that GIGABYTE has to offer at the moment which is the AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition. As you might have expected from its name, the card has been factory overclocked by the company with base clock speed of 1607 to 1632 MHz and boost clock speed of 1721 to 1746 MHz depending on the card’s operating mode.

The 11GB GDDR5X memory on the AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition is also tuned to run at 11232 to 11448 MHz which is much higher than NVIDIA’s reference specification. To help cool down the card, GIGABYTE has equipped it with Windforce 3X thermal solution which also features a cooper base plate that not only covered the GPU but also the card’s RAM modules.

Additionally, there is also another substantially sized X-shaped cooper plate on the back of the GPU as well as a full-length metal back plate. Just like the GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming before it, AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition also features built-in VR Link ports that allows users to easily plug in their VR headset or multiple displays.

In terms of price, the AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition is listed at RM 4,159 although customers can choose to obtain a standard AORUS GTX 1080 Ti for RM 3,989 instead which retain almost all the features from the Xtreme Edition with the exception of slower clock speed and smaller cooper plate on the back of its GPU.

Last but not least, there is also the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC model that offers base and boost clock speed of up to 1,544 MHz and 1,657 MHz respectively. Price-wise, the card goes for RM 3,799 which is just slightly more than its Founders Edition counterpart.
