OnePlus knows precisely how to use artificial scarcity to raise the demand for its devices; and is taking it to the logical limit. A new all black version of the OnePlus 3T flagship is set to be sold in a tiny production run from literally a single location in Paris.
Designed in partnership with Parisian clothing store Colette, the OnePlus 3T colette edition is the very definition of exclusive. Only 250 units of the smartphone will be sold on 21 March 2017 from the Colette store in Paris. The sale starts at 11am local time, but we expect people to start queuing far earlier than that to get their hands on the rare device.
That said, the OnePlus 3T colette edition is simply a regular 128GB storage version of the regular OnePlus 3T. It has the same 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 821 processor; along with the fast charging battery.
OnePlus has set an asking price of €479 for this exclusive all black OnePlus 3T colette Edition. However, we’re sure that it will appear on the secondary market for far more.
