Hotlink has switched up the FAST prepaid plan by introducing the 5 FRIENDZ. This takes the place of the current Activ10 numbers, and provides free calls to five Hotlink and/or Maxis numbers.
Activating the 5 FRIENDZ option will remove all Activ10 numbers, although those who would rather not use this new free call programme can safely ignore it. Hotlink does not have the habit of shutting down older plans and offers without warning.
To add numbers to your 5 FRIENDZ list, just dial *100#. Then from the USSD menu, select ‘Hot Deals’ and choose ‘Free Calls to Friendz’. Should you wish to switch to this new monthly pass, existing customers can still carry forward the mobile Internet pass they’re currently subscribed to.
In addition to the 5 FRIENDZ, Hotlink is now also offering 8GB of data on weekends for all customers. This is technically already available for those who have already bought internet passes, but it looks like Hotlink has expanded this to just about everyone with a valid Hotlink subscription.
