honor has recently confirmed a launch event happening on the 16th of December, where the company will be unveiling a new device it dubs “Magic.” Based on teaser images surrounding the upcoming device, it may just be a competitor to the very impressive Xiaomi Mi Mix.
We first got a glimpse of the honor Magic’s silhouette in the company’s teaser image for the launch event. Based on the outline of the device, it’s hard to tell if it will look similar to the Mi Mix’s almost bezel-less design; some of our colleagues believe the Magic will have a dual-curved display instead, much like the Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
Apparently, the honor Magic is said to feature Huawei’s new fast charging technology, which can supposedly charge up a 3,000mAh battery to 48% in only five minutes. Other than that, some parties believe that the Magic won’t even have a camera sensor or a speaker; modules will be used in place of these hardware instead, which sounds…rather inconvenient.
There are a lot of rumours surrounding the honor Magic, which makes it hard to tell just what the upcoming device will bring to the table. Nonetheless, all will be revealed come 16 December 2016.
