At its ongoing launch event, Apple CEO Tim Cook has revealed a startling statistic: the company has sold over one billion iPhone devices to date.
This has led Apple to claim that the iPhone is “the best-selling product of its kind in the history of the world”. While Apple usually tends to overstate its achievements, this statistic remains an impressive one.
The new iPhone 7 will surely add to that statistic with new colour options, better cameras, and larger storage capacities across all models. Not to mention the fact that the previous-gen iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have seen the minimum storage option increased to 32GB, giving better long-term usability.
