Joining in the MSI budget-friendly lineup of GTX 1060 graphics card is the adorable GTX 1060 3G OCV1. MSI’s latest graphics card is based off of Nvidia’s 3GB variant of the GTX 1060 and it comes with a single-fan solution. Despite this, the GTX 1060 3G OCV1 still makes for a great graphics card for gamers who look to play competitive, non-graphics intensive PC games.
The MSI GTX 1060 3G OCV1 graphics card features the same aesthetics as its more powerful sibling: the GTX 1060 6G OCV1. This graphics card has a minuscular dimension of 188mm x 116mm x 40mm; which is suitable for PC gamers who are looking to build a small form factor PC. Not to mention the fact that it only weighs 464 grams. That said, the black and white cooler shroud on the GTX 1060 3G OCV1 is somewhat uninspiring to say the least – we think it’ll look better in MSI red.
Specifications-wise, the MSI GTX 1060 3G OCV1 comes with a base and boost GPU clock speed of 1544MHz and 1759MHz respectively; which is interesting because the dual-fan variant of this graphics card also ships with the same clock speeds. Memory clock speed is recorded at 8008MHz. Meanwhile, power consumption is rated at 120W, which is drawn via a single 6-pin power connector. Display outputs include one HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI ports each.
