GrabCar Rates to KLIA and klia2 Just Got A Lot Cheaper

Good news for frequent fliers and serial travelers: Grab just made it a lot cheaper to get to the airports. All trips from the Klang Valley to KLIA or klia2 will cost just RM65 – 27.8% less than the previous RM90 fare.

Ever since KLIA Ekspres significantly raised its fares earlier this year from RM35 to RM55, Malaysians have had to figure out more affordable means to travel to the airport. With Grab’s latest campaign, this will be one less hassle to think about.

Just in time for the coming holiday period, Grab’s RM65 fixed fare is valid until further notice. There are no promo codes to key in ahead of time, and no further steps required. Users just need to open the Grab app, select GrabCar Economy, enter their pickup point within the Klang Valley and their destination (KLIA/klia2), and the fare will be displayed to you. Note that this RM65 fare is not inclusive of any tolls incurred during the trip.

This offer will be particularly useful for those who are travelling in a group. For example, a group of four will need to only pay RM16.25 per person (not inclusive of toll charges), which is the lowest door-to-door on demand car ride from the Klang Valley to the airports.

“By helping folks to stretch the Ringgit as much as possible this holiday season, Grab will be able to encourage folks to expand their horizons and spend more quality time with their loved ones,” Jaygan Fu, Country Manager of Grab Malaysia explained.
