If you have a OnePlus 2 invitation code from Maxis but do not wish to sign up for a contract or Zerolution from the telco just to get the phone, you may now do so. Maxis is offering the OnePlus 2 without contract, for a retail price of RM1,687 before 6% GST.
Previously, the telco only allowed customers with an invitation code to buy the OnePlus 2 with either a Zerolution or a 24 months contract with a MaxisONE postpaid plan. Now, the OnePlus 2 is available for purchase without a contract however, do note that you will still need to sign up to a rate plan. Of course, since you’re not tied to a contract, you may change the plan as and when you wish to.
The OnePlus 2 costs RM1,788.22 after adding 6% GST, and is available for purchase online or in a Maxis Centre nationwide. A valid invitation from OnePlus is required and one invitation only entitles each person to buy one device. Once you receive a code, you must activate it in 48 hours before it becomes invalid. After validating, the code will be valid for one week however, since having an invitation code does not guarantee that stock is reserved, it is best that you buy the device as soon as you can.
