Maxis Zerolution with Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge Plus

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is in Malaysia and as expected, on top of being sold on the shelves, you can also get the latest phablets from Samsung from or local telcos. Maxis is offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ with its Zerolution, offering both devices from RM138 and RM156 a month respectively; the Galaxy Note 5 even comes with a free battery pack from Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 costs RM138 a month (RM93 phone price + RM30 phone upgrade program + RM15 phone protection), while the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ costs RM156 a month (RM111 + RM30 + RM15).

Maxis Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus Zerolution

Maxis Zerolution lets you walk away with a brand new smartphone, yes, including these two latest ones from Samsung, with zero cash upfront, zero “24 months lock-in period”, zero penalties and 0% interest. After 12 months, you can swap your phone for a brand new one (next generation Galaxy Note, perhaps?), at no extra charges at all. The catch? You will need to sign up for one of the telco’s MaxisONE postpaid plans from as low as RM98 a month.

The RM15/month for phone protection is not compulsory, but it is to ensure that you can upgrade to a new phone because it protects your phone from screen cracks, accidental damage and even theft. Just make a claim from Maxis before you swap for a new phone.

Don’t want to be on Zerolution? The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ are also available for purchase with a normal telco subsidy when you sign up for a 24 months contract under one of four MaxisONE plans.
