With just one day to go before Xiaomi’s big unveiling, the company has released a “reaction” video showing the company’s staff’s reactions as they laid eyes on the new flagship product for the first time. Based on their reactions, tomorrow’s unveiling could be very, very interesting.
The camera follows an individual walking around the Xiaomi office showing off the new device to “lucky” employees; each and every one of them shocked to see the new device.
Is Xiaomi trying to say that its own employees have no idea what they’re working on? While most of the staff look genuinely surprised, it’s not hard to see that some of them were exaggerating their reactions.
The marketing stunt is almost certainly to build up excitement for tomorrow’s press event. Of course, we still have no idea what is being revealed. Will it be a new Redmi Note 2? Or will it be the new Mi 5? Or both?
