Garmin Malaysia Officially Brings In The epix, fenix 3 and vivoactive

Garmin Malaysia has now unveiled the official pricing for the epix, fenix 3 and the vivoactive. These new multisport GPS watches from Garmin first made its debut back in CES 2015 and has now officially arrived on Malaysian shores.

The Garmin epix is a rugged GPS mapping watch that allows for hands-free navigation to be placed right on their wrists. The watch features a 1.4-inch high resolution colour touchscreen display and 8GB of internal storage for additional map storing. It comes pre-loaded with a worldwide shaded relief basemap and a subscription to BirdsEye Satellite Imagery for one year. For quick and accurate pin-pointing of location, the epix features an omni-directional EXO steel antenna, along with the standard GPS and GLONASS support.

The fenix 3 boasts on premium materials coupled with a rugged aesthetic and smartwatch capabilities. The watch comes in three variations and they all feature a protective stainless steel bezel and buttons, and has a housing reinforced with glass fiber. Not only that, it has sleep monitoring capabilities and a vibration move alert which alerts users to move after one hour of inactivity.

The vivoactive is a lightweight smartwatch that has the usual GPS functionalities as well as the ability to install apps from the Connect IQ store. It also has customisation features like interchangeable watchbands, giving users a wide choice from an array of different coloured watchbands.

The epix will have a retail price of RM1,999. For the fenix 3, it will retail for RM1,799, or RM1,999 for the heart rate monitor bundle. The more premium fenix 3 sapphire will have an SRP of RM2,199 (RM2,399 for the heart rate monitor bundle). The vivoactive on the other hand will  retail for RM1,099, or RM1,299 for the heart rate monitor package. These offerings from Garmin are now available throughout Malaysia at authorised Garmin retailers.
