Acer recently took the curtains off the Liquid Z410 smartphone, a budget Android device that has 4G LTE connectivity on board, is powered by a superfast 64-bit processor, and features “excellent audio, great camera and prolonged battery life”.
The Acer Liquid Z410 features a 4.5” qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, giving a pixel density of 245ppi. Beneath that is a 64-bit MT6732 quad-core processor by MediaTek, paired by an ARM Mali-T760 GPU, and supports Category 4 LTE.
As for the camera, it has a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 2MP 80-degree wide-angle front camera. Acer says that the Liquid Z410 now has a brand new interface for the camera, making it a whole lot easier to capture pictures. There are also new camera features like new shooting modes (presentation, dual shot, picture-in-picture and video-in-video), and voice commands like “Cheese” to take a photograph, or “Selfie” to switch to the front camera and captures after 3 seconds.
Other specs include “prolonged battery life” that can last 5.5 hours of talk time and 400 hours on standby mode, gesture control that lets you wake the device up (and open an app) using gestures, and Acer QuickMode.
The Acer Liquid Z410 will be available in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) at the end of February from €129 (RM550) onwards.
