Maxis’ RM38/Day DataRoam Pass Now Comes with Free Unlimited Outgoing Voice Calls

Maxis DataRoam Pass with Free Unlimited Calls

Good news to Maxis users who will be travelling soon, subscribe to a Maxis DataRoam pass at RM38/day and not only will you get unlimited data roaming for the day, the telco will include free unlimited outgoing voice calls for 25 countries.

Starting immediately till 31 December 2014, if you are travelling to one of the 25 countries listed, you can make local calls, call home or call a third country at absolutely no extra charge at all when you purchase a DataRoam pass for RM38/day. The participating countries are:

  • Cambodia – SMART
  • China – China Mobile
  • Czech – O2-CZ
  • Germany – O2-DE
  • Hong Kong – HKCSL/HKT
  • India – AIRTEL
  • Indonesia – Telkomsel
  • Ireland – O2-IRL
  • Italy – I WIND
  • Japan – NTT Docomo
  • Macau – CTM
  • Mexico – MOVISTAR
  • Norway – NetCom
  • Philippines – GLOBE PH
  • Russia – Vimpelcom/Beeline
  • Singapore – Singtel
  • South Korea – SK Telecom
  • Spain – Telefonica
  • Taiwan – TW MOBILE

Do note that the promotion is only available for MaxisONE plan subscribers (MaxisONE plan/MaxisONE plan lite, MaxisONE Business Plan/MaxisONE Business Plan Extra) for direct dialling only – for local calls, calls back home and calls to third countries. The free unlimited calls do not include receiving calls, Roam 120 and Easy Callback. The pass will expire at 11:59pm local time of the country you are visiting.

Alternatively if it’s just a short trip and you do not need a lot of data or calls, you can also subscribe to Data Roam Saver (available in 16 countries only) for only RM10/day. Visit Maxis for more information about the free unlimited outgoing roaming calls.
