Good news for Xiaomi Mi 3 owners, give your device a software update check and you’ll be greeted with a new version of MIUI and yes, it comes with Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat as well.
Last night, Xiaomi Singapore shared a Facebook update calling all Mi 3 users in the country to perform the update. The post did not mention anything about international availability of Android 4.4.2 for Mi 3, but if you give your device a check, you should see an update ready and waiting for you to download and apply it.The Xiaomi Mi 3 in Malaysia has been running on Android 4.3 since its launch into the country. To get the update, open up the Settings app, and tap on About Phone under the General Settings tab. Hit on the System Update button right below and wait for the Kit Kat treat for your device.
