GAMDIAS, the Taiwanese company specialising in gaming peripherals, has announced eight new products at this year’s Computex. Ranging from mechanical keyboards to gaming mice as well as gaming headsets, some of these gaming-focused products will even be making its way to Malaysia as early as this month.

To those who have not heard of the brand before, GAMDIAS is a two-year-old company focused on building professional-grade gaming products. It is known for its HERMES gaming keyboard, which the company calls “the most powerful gaming keyboard on earth”. And, in case you’re wondering, yes, GAMDIAS’ products are all named after characters from Greek mythology.

This year, it has announced eight new products, and they’re all on display at its booth at Computex. They are the EREBOS laser and optical gaming mouse, the OUREA laser and optical gaming mouse , the ARES and ARES Essential gaming keyboards as well as the EROS V2 and HEBE V2 gaming headsets.

Let’s start off with a gamer’s primary weapon: the gaming mouse. GAMDIAS’ new EREBOS and OUREA gaming mice are available in two variants: one with a laser sensor and the other with an optical sensor. The GMS5510-OUREA mouse has a weight tuning system with four 5g mini weights at the bottom as well as an ambidextrous design. The GMS7510-EREBOS mouse has the same features plus three sets of Ray-like magnetic interchangeable side panels for more ergonomic usage. The sensor DPI for both mice, however, were not yet revealed.

On the other hand, the GKB6010-ARES keyboard features multi-color pulsating lighting modes, a feature common among many gaming keyboards. It also has a magnetic wrist rest providing comfort for prolonged gaming which also doubles as a dust cover. Plus, the keyboard’s design allows the WASD and arrow keys to be exchanged, to meet the needs for the left- or right-handed gamer.

Finally, there’s the two new gaming headsets, the GHS3200u-EROS V2 and the GHS3300-HEBE V2. The GHS3200u-EROS V2 – which connects via USB – features simulated 7.1 surround sound with 50mm gaming-class drivers. It is lightweight and comes with a support suspension headband. There is also a steel gooseneck microphone that can be bent in any direction intense chatter in-game.

The GHS3300-HEBE V2 uses the more conventional 3.5mm audio jack is compatible with the Sony PS4. Its 50mm gaming-class drivers provide upgraded sound quality with balanced bass and trebles. The HEBE V2 also uses two types of connectors that can be used on smart devices or computers for wider applications.

According to GAMDIAS, these products – alongside its existing gaming products – will all be made available in Malaysia in the coming weeks. While GAMDIAS has yet to confirm its final retail prices, these products will serve a variety of price points to meet the purchasing power of various gamers.
