After it was released to Nokia Lumia 1020 and 925 earlier this month, Nokia’s Lumia Black update is now ready to be deployed to more Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices in our market. According to the update’s availability list for Asia Pacific, owners of Lumia 920, 820 and 625 in Malaysia are now able to download Lumia Black for their devices.
To install and update your device with Lumia Black, just head on to Settings, choose Phone Update, press the Check For Updates button, and follow the subsequent on-screen instructions. As for three other Lumia Windows Phone 8 models that have yet to receive the update (Lumia 720, 620, and 520), their status are currently listed as “Waiting For Approval”.
A combination of Windows Phone 8 Update 3 from Microsoft together with improvements and tweaks by Nokia, the Lumia Black update also include the support for new apps and features such as Nokia Storyteller, Nokia Beamer and raw DNG for Nokia PureView cameras.
