Revealed to the world for the first time few weeks ago, the HP Omen gaming laptop marked the return of HP into the gaming market even though the company is now going through some major changes. The name Omen itself seemed to be a homage to VoodooPC Omen, a gaming desktop machine that HP launched not long after it acquired VoodooPC.
Now, it turns out that HP Malaysia has apparently started to take orders for the new HP Omen gaming laptop.
According to the HP Malaysia’s Online Store, there is only one variant available for Malaysian market. Priced at RM 6999, this particular variant is equipped with 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3, 512GB solid state drive and 4GB GDDR5 RAM for its Maxwell-based NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M GPU.
Also accompanying these hardware are a 15.6-inch full HD touch display and 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor. At this moment, each purchase of HP Omen will come together with free HP Omen Gaming Mouse and HP Gaming Bagpack.

Since HP Malaysia has yet to share much details regarding the launch of HP Omen in our market, we have no knowledge of its actual public availability date at local HP Malaysia dealers.
