Lenovo-Vibe-Z

It looks like Lenovo has finally decided to join the LTE bandwagon, the company recently officially announced the Vibe Z, the first LTE smartphone from Lenovo and yes, it’s aimed for the international market. The Vibe Z features a large 5.5” Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 400ppi. Unlike most Lenovo phones we know that are powered by Intel, the Vibe Z packs the latest quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, with 2GB of RAM on board.

But what makes this phone impressive isn’t in the specs department. The Vibe Z packs everything into a razor-thin body that measures at only 7.9mm and weighs 147grams; for comparison’s sake, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that features a 5.7” display measures at 8.3mm thin and weighs 168grams, so you can imagine just how slim and light the Vibe Z is. Other specs includes 16GB of internal storage (basic), Android 4.3 operating system, 13MP rear camera with a large f/1.8 aperture, 5MP front wide-angle shooter, 4G LTE connectivity and NFC on board.

Starting at USD$549 (about RM1,800), the device is scheduled to hit Malaysia in February along with other countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Philippines.
