Remember back in those days where we had to use VHS tapes to watch and record videos off the television? Those were the days, in celebration of the 57th birthday of the first commercial video cassette recorder, YouTube has launched a VHS mode for selected videos on its YouTube service, allowing you to relive those vintage years.
Visit YouTube.com and pick a video to watch, if the video is compatible, there will be a VHS Tape icon on the bottom right of the player. Click on that and wait for your static and fuzzy video to load up; HD mode is supported so go ahead and stream to the big screen and go back to 1980.
Check out YouTube’s Google+ page for more information or visit YouTube now and start reminiscing yesteryear.
