Designed with a large 5” display with a resolution of 480 x 800 at the front, the Galaxy Grand features mid-range hardware under its hood such as a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD, 2,100mAh battery, runs on Android 4.1.2 and it supports dual-SIM. Here’s the best part, it retails at RM1,299 at launch.

Design wise, the Galaxy Grand is “designed for human” alright, from the picture, it’s pretty impossible to tell the difference between other “designed for human” phones – the Galaxy S III, Note II and S III mini.

Other notable features on the Galaxy grand include Multi-Window capability, Direct Call that automatically makes a call by raising the device up to the ear, and Popup video. Available immediately, the Samsung Galaxy Grand is available in Elegant White and Metallic Blue at RM1,299. For a limited time only, purchases of the device comes with a free C Pen.
