Apple iPhone 4S Launch in China Goes Crazy

Beijing iPhone 4S Craze

Sometimes, I look back and think about how boring the iPhone 4S launch here in Malaysia was, for DiGi at least, because they were so well prepared and allowed customers to purchase it online and have it delivered to their door step. But at times like right now, I’m actually more than glad because the iPhone 4S queue in China has gone crazy.

The long queue was crazy by itself, but that’s the norm with the launch of most Apple products, but it looks like the queue has gone crazy with scalpers fighting with each other to get their hands on as many iPhone 4S they could get as possible. The police came of course – wow isn’t that a surprise, I thought they would leave a little girl to die in the streets – and Apple Store has said to have closed its doors to make the crowd leave.

Thankfully, no major injuries were reported. The one who suffered the most would probably be Apple Store’s poor windows filled with rubbish and eggs.
