With less than two weeks left before Windows 8 officially arrives on the hands of consumers throughout the world, quite a number of Windows 8 products have begun to pop up into the daylight and Malaysia is not spared as well. Earlier today, Acer held a preview session for the members of media which showcases the company’s upcoming Windows 8 line-up that will be available in Malaysia very soon.
At the session, Acer brought together five Windows 8 products which include the Acer Aspire S7 touch-enabled Ultrabook in both 13.3-inch and 11.6-inch form factors together with the Acer Aspire 7600U 27-inch All-in-One PC, the Intel Atom-powered Acer Iconia W510 and the Acer TH232HL 23-inch IPS touch display. However, all products that were shown there were pre-production units, hence no specifications and pricing were revealed at the preview.
Apparently, all that information will be made at an upcoming launch event which will take place not long after the general availability of Windows 8. That doesn’t mean we didn’t get any hands-on time with them though, so stay tuned for our first impressions of these new Acer products that are designed for Windows 8 coming your way very soon.
