Remember back in August when Microsoft launched a new email service called Outlook.com? I do, I remember logging on the first thing just to snag up my username before it gets taken and of course, to get more storage space on Sky Drive. It looks like the new email service has been doing really well, just less than four months since its debut, Outlook.com is already seeing about 25 million active users; that’s a third of the total users Gmail has. In celebration, Microsoft has released an Android app for Outlook.com. The app is available for download immediately on Play Store.
On other news, the next time you wish to add a review in Play Store, think again because Google+ and Play Store are now linked together. When you write a review for an app, you will be forced to use your Google+ account, which is good news to both developer and users because I think not many people would be bothered to create a fake account just for an app review.
Finally for Gmail users, Google has recently added Drive integration with its email service, greatly enlarging your attachment limit from 25MB to a whopping 10GB. The feature isn’t available for everyone yet, to check, simply compose a new email and see if you have a Drive logo button in the toolbar. If it’s there, it means that the service is available to you and you can upload say, a couple of Full HD movies to share with your friends.
Have fun checking these new updates.
