The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will suspend services provided by MyEG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd, both under the MYEG Group, as its collection agents from 12:01am on 5 October 2026. The department said the decision follows a review of the companies’ compliance with the terms and conditions of their agreements, including obligations that remain unfulfilled or unresolved.
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said all JPJ services previously offered through MyEG Group channels will therefore be suspended from that date. He added that JPJ services will continue as usual through its official and alternative channels.
What Happens To KPP01 Bookings?
For those who have already booked the computerised driving theory test (KPP01) through MYEG before 5 October, the bookings will remain valid and applicants can sit for their tests as scheduled. However, new bookings made from 5 October onwards will have to be made directly at KPP test centres located at driving institutes nationwide.
For non-Malaysians who need to pay traffic summonses at the Malaysia-Singapore border, JPJ mobile units will provide payment facilities at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex and Bangunan Sultan Iskandar in Johor. These facilities will operate from 8am to 10pm.
Aedy Fadly advised the public to use official JPJ channels to ensure that their transactions are carried out smoothly and securely. He added that the department remains committed to ensuring continuity of services and that transactions are conducted in an orderly, transparent and accountable manner.

Zetrix AI Reportedly Owes JPJ Over RM200 Million
The suspension comes as Zetrix AI faces scrutiny over an outstanding amount of more than RM200 million owed to the government. The Straits Times reported that the company failed to remit money collected for vehicle road tax, driving licence renewals and traffic summonses to JPJ from the start of its three-year contract in May 2023, citing official documents it had seen.
An unnamed government official told the Singapore newspaper that the outstanding amount was more than RM200 million as of the end of September, while the Transport Ministry was considering its next steps. The Edge Malaysia separately reported that a Ministry of Transport spokesperson confirmed the amount outstanding.
It should be noted that JPJ’s statement on the suspension did not specifically mention the reported RM200 million outstanding amount. Instead, the department cited compliance with the companies’ contractual terms and unresolved obligations as the reason for its decision.

From MyEG To Zetrix AI
MyEG Services Bhd began providing online government services in 2000, including vehicle road tax and insurance renewals through its link-up with JPJ. It officially changed its name to Zetrix AI Bhd on 3 July 2025, with the rebranding reflecting its growing focus on blockchain, artificial intelligence and robotics.
The company was also behind PMX.AI, an AI-powered digital twin of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that was launched as a WhatsApp chatbot in July. The chatbot was designed to let Malaysians interact with a virtual version of Anwar, with Zetrix AI saying that it was trained on his speeches, writings, policy framework, preferences and viewpoints.
However, PMX.AI was taken offline shortly after its launch for what was described as system upgrades and improvements. Although it was initially expected to return later that day, the chatbot remains unavailable at the time of writing.
