Nothing announced the Phone (4b) and Ear (3a) back in July. At the time of the launch, there were no details regarding the products’ availability and pricing on our shores. Now, the London-based company has opened pre-orders for the two devices, with open sales set to begin later this month.
Given that it has been quite some time since the two devices made their debut, their specifications aren’t exactly a secret by now. In case you missed the initial launch though, here’s a quick recap. The duo is positioned as an accessible entry point to the Nothing ecosystem, with affordability as the main highlight.
Phone (4b)

Conceived as the stripped down counterpart of the Phone (4a), the Phone (4b) features a unibody design with a Glyph Bar. It comes equipped with a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Furthermore, the handset sports dual stereo speakers and an IP64 rating.
Internally, it packs a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. In Malaysia, the device gets 128GB of storage. Keeping the phone powered is a 5,200mAh battery with 33W wired charging. For software, it runs on Android 16 via Nothing OS 4.1, with the brand promising three major OS upgrades and six years’ worth of security patches.

On the imaging end, the phone sports a 50MP primary camera with OIS and EIS. This is supported by an 8MP ultra-wide snapper. For the selfie enthusiasts, the device features a 16MP front-facing sensor.
Ear (3a)

Like any other Nothing product, the Ear (3a) incorporates the company’s distinctive transparent aesthetics in its design. Its charging case features a new 3-LED matrix Status Light that allows users to quickly glean information like battery levels, charging status, and pairing progress at a glance.
As for audio features, the device comes with 12mm dynamic drivers that deliver deeper bass and balanced audio. These get paired with 45dB wideband ANC, Static Spatial Audio, and an 8-band EQ. Meanwhile, the case allows for up to 42 hours of listening time.

Aside from that, the earbuds come with built-in audio recording features. Users can save short clips from media playback, as well as record calls. The recordings are automatically synced to the Nothing X app.
Pre-Order And Pricing Details

Both the Nothing Phone (4a) and Ear (3a) are currently available for pre-order via the brand’s official website, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Open sales will begin on 20 September 2026.
As for pricing, the Phone (4a) retails for RM1,599. In conjunction with the local launch, the company is offering a RM100 discount on the device, bringing the final price down to RM1,499. This offer will run until 20 October 2026, during which customers are also entitled to a free foldable backpack and phone wrist strap, though these are subject to availability. Meanwhile, the Ear (3a) gets a RM399 price tag.
