Experiencing issues loading certain websites (including ours) or refreshing your feed on X? You’re not alone, as global network provider Cloudflare is currently facing technical problems on its end.
The issue has persisted, albeit inconsistently, since around 7:30pm this evening. Affected users are greeted with a 500 Internal Error page when accessing certain sites, which indicates Cloudflare as the likely root cause. The company has acknowledged the situation on its cloudflarestatus.com page, noting that the outage also impacts the Cloudflare Dashboard and API.

At the time of writing, the issue is still occurring intermittently, with services stabilising at times before breaking again without warning. In its latest update, Cloudflare says it is still investigating the matter and notes that customers may continue to observe higher-than-normal error rates while remediation efforts continue.
Cloudflare also notes that its support portal provider is currently experiencing issues, which may cause customers to encounter errors when viewing or responding to support cases. It adds that responses to customer inquiries are not affected, and users can still reach the company via live chat (Business and Enterprise) through the Cloudflare Dashboard, or via the emergency telephone line (Enterprise). The company says it is working with its third-party provider to understand the full impact and mitigate the problem.
