The DJI Osmo Action 6 is the drone maker’s worst kept secret it seems. The action camera has been the subject of multiple leaks in the past couple of months. Now, ahead of its impending launch, more images depicting the device have emerged.
One of these pictures shows what appears to be the casing for the Action 6, comparing it to the Action 5 Pro. According to The New Camera, this casing is only a prototype. The publication also noted that the image has been altered, but it gives viewers an idea of how the Action 6 differs from the last generation. At least, in terms of size anyway.

Meanwhile, an X post by Xdrones Studio includes images of what seems to be a retail unit. The camera is featured alongside its packaging. While these photos are a bit on the blurry side, one can see the large camera housing. This might be to accommodate the bigger sensor. As previous leaks have detailed, the Action 6 will feature a 1/1.1-inch sensor with an f/2.0-f/4.0 variable aperture.
DJI has already hinted at the new feature in a teaser for the upcoming camera. As is usual for the brand, it does not explicitly name the device in the teaser, but the signs point to it being the Osmo Action 6. Either way, the official launch is set for 18 November 2025. The action camera will be making its debut here on the same date as well, at 8PM local time.
