Tune Talk has updated its lineup of 5G prepaid plans with the introduction of the Epik+ 28 package. This plan serves as the new entry-level option, replacing the Epik+ 25 plan. While the new package is a bit pricier than the telco’s previous offering, it does come with some additional perks.
As one could probably guess from the name, the Epik+ 28 plan is priced at RM28 per month. For comparison, the Epik+ 25 plan costs RM25 per month. In exchange for the slightly heftier price tag, you get 50GB of 5G/4G data with uncapped speed. This is a 10GB increase from the old package.

In addition to this, the new plan comes with unlimited calls and hotspot usage. While the Epik+ 25 plan does include unlimited calls, it does not come with hotspot. With this change, all of the telco’s Epik+ packages include hotspot, although the number of devices supported depends on the specific plan. In the case of Epik+ 28, users are allowed one device.
Aside from introducing the Epik+ 28 plan, Tune Talk has also revised its Epik+ 35 and Epik+ 50 packages. More specifically, the telco is increasing the personal accident (PA) insurance coverage for these plans at no cost.

For the Epik+ 35 plan, coverage has been raised to RM100,000. Meanwhile, the Epik+ 50 plan gets RM150,000. While existing subscribers are automatically eligible for the upgrade, new users must remain active with top-ups for 60 consecutive days.
