Last month, a leak revealed some details on the upcoming DJI Osmo Action 6. Now, fresh leaks have surfaced online, shedding more light on the action camera’s design and some of its specifications.
In a couple of X posts, leakster Igor Bogdanov shared images of the Osmo Action 6, showcasing the device from multiple angles. Based on these images, it seems that DJI is equipping the camera with a 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensor, which is an upgrade from the 1/1.3-inch sensor featured on the Action 5 Pro. Aside from that, the Action 6 will offer a 155° field of view.

Another detail depicted in the leak is a new f/2.0-f/4.0 variable aperture, which is unheard of in action cameras. If this information proves to be accurate, then this would mean better performance across different lighting conditions. In addition to this, a previous report indicated that the device will pack a 1,950mAh battery. This battery reportedly offers up to four hours of usage.
Beyond that, the upcoming action camera is expected to retail for US$329 (~RM1,392) in the US. As for when the DJI Osmo Action 6 will be making its official debut, the leakster only mentioned that the camera will be launching soon. Meanwhile, The New Camera claimed that something related to the Action 6 will go live before 10 November 2025. This puts the release date somewhere around the end of this month or early next month.
Of course, it goes without saying that these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. We’ll likely hear more about the camera straight from the horse’s mouth soon.
