iQOO has recently launched its newest flagship smartphone in its home market. Like many other high-end devices released in China this month, the iQOO 15 packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Aside from that, the phone features a few upgrades compared to its predecessor.
The iQOO 15 sports a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED LTPO display with a 2K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Aside from that, the screen comes with 2160Hz PWM and DC Dimming, Dolby Vision, as well as HDR10+ support. For security, the device features an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Rounding things off are IP68 and IP69 ratings.

Other than Qualcomm’s latest flagship silicon, the phone is equipped with iQOO’s company’s custom Q3 gaming chip. The device also gets up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, as well as up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
Keeping the lights on is a 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. Additionally, the phone supports bypass and reverse charging. For software, it runs Android 16 via OriginOS 6. Connectivity features include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC.

On the imaging end, the phone sports a triple camera setup comprising a 50MP 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter. For selfies, the device comes with a 32MP front-facing camera.
The iQOO 15 is available in four colourways, including a previously teased colour-changing variant. Pricing for the phone starts at CNY4,199 (~RM2,491) for the 12GB+256GB configuration. The priciest of the bunch is the 16GB+1TB model, which retails for CNY5,499 (~RM3,262). There is also an Honor of Kings 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition, which comes with the same price tag as the 1TB model, but with only 512GB of storage.

As of right now, the brand has yet to mention a specific date for a global launch. That said, we can probably expect an international release by the end of the year.
