The cyber infrastructure and security used for the distribution of BUDI95 is secure against cyber threats, Gobind Singh Deo, Digital Minister said. Gobind said that the government has thoroughly studied every aspect of the distribution system’s safety, as well as having taken into account various potential risks.
“The Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) has always prioritised security in all aspects of digitalisation, and the same applies to Budi95. Security has been given special attention, and the existing system is well prepared for all eventualities,” Gobind told reporters during a recent press conference at the CyberDSA 2025 event.

“What we have implemented is a system that has already considered such possibilities. It is safe for us to proceed for now, and this aspect has been carefully assessed.”
Starting yesterday, Malaysians awho are eligible under the Budi Madani RON95 scheme, or BUDI95 for short, can redeem fuel subsidies at RM1.99 per litre. Each individual has a cap of 300 litres per month, although specific quotas and relaxations may apply.
