Gigabyte officially announced that its Aorus MO27Q28G gaming monitor is now available in Malaysia. The monitor is the latest of several other monitors in the market to utilise a Tandem OLED panel.
Running through the other specs, the MO27Q28G is a 27-inch WOLED gaming monitor with a native resolution of QHD (2,560 x 1,440). Its design allows for a 4-sided borderless aesthetic, giving it a 99% screen-to-body ratio. Again, it is a Tandem OLED, with its panel being a fourth generation LG Display WOLED panel.
Moving on, the MO27Q28G has a maximum refresh rate of 280Hz with a 0.03ms GTG response time. It is also a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified monitor, with a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, 99.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and black levels of up to 500 lux.
The MO27Q28G also comes with brand-specific exclusive features, including Tactical Switch 2.0, enabling gamers to switch between resolutions and aspect ratios, all with a single click of the switch. Ports-wise, it comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, a USB-C upstream port, two USB3.2 Downstream, one USB 3.2 Upstream, and a 3.5mm earphone jack. Finally, the total weight of the monitor standns at 8.75kg, with the monitor weighing around 4kg.
