It doesn’t feel that long ago that OPPO launched the A5 Pro for the local market. But today, the brand has announced the sequel, the A6 Pro, in Malaysia. Like before though, we’re only getting one configuration, and therefore only one price tag. But we’ll get to that in a bit.
The OPPO A6 Pro has a 6.57-inch Full HD+ display which has a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. Inside, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. Powering the device is a 6,500 mAh battery with 80W charging support.
Imaging on the OPPO A6 Pro is handled by a 50MP main + 2MP monochrome pair at the back, and a 16MP unit in front. On the software side of things, it runs the ColorOS 15 over Android 15. Wrapping it all up is a body with an IP69 rating.
Onto its price, the OPPO A6 Pro costs RM1,199. Pre-orders are open now, with actual availability starting on 27 September. Naturally, get it early and there will be free gifts thrown in as well.
