Maybank has announced that it will be conducting its periodic system maintenance this weekend. As per usual, several banking services will be unavailable while this is happening. The planned maintenance activity is scheduled for Saturday, 20 September 2025, from 12AM until 8AM. The service disruptions will occur in several phases within this timeframe.
Among the affected services are DuitNow transactions via Maybank2u web, the MAE app, as well as Maybank2u Biz. These include DuitNow Transfer, DuitNow Request, and DuitNow QR. Aside from that, JomPay and Interbank GIRO transfers will also be unavailable. Customers will be unable to access these services from 3AM to 8AM. Sharing this downtime are the FPX and Debit Mandate services on Maybank2u web.
Meanwhile, from 12AM until 6AM, users will not be able to exchange currencies in the MAE app. Aside from that, all ATM services will be unavailable from 12AM until 8AM. This means that the ATMs will be unusable throughout the entire maintenance period.
As the planned downtime is set for the odd hours, it is unlikely to affect most users. Nonetheless, the bank advises its customers to plan their transactions accordingly to avoid being inconvenienced by the disruptions. As always, any inquiries can be made through Maybank’s official channels.
