Even though the iPhone 17 Pro series have yet to hit store shelves, new rumours and leaks suggest that Apple is already working on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Serial leakster Digital Chat Station claims that the rumoured devices will allegedly have a slightly transparent design.
Despite the clear backing, the leakster claims on Weibo that the supposed device will still have the same design elements found on the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Currently, Digital Chat Station alleges that the upcoming Apple devices will retain the stainless steel vapour chamber as well as the same screen size as this current generation of iPhones.

GSMArena further speculates that the transparent arrangement will be on the lower part of the device’s back and that it is a jab at Nothing’s design language. The tech publication also expects that the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will sport a new chipset, noting that it has become a recurring pattern for Apple to upgrade its chipset with each passing year.
Being a leak, this information should be taken with a grain of salt, especially since the iPhone 17 series hasn’t even been released yet. Having said that, it is worth mentioning that the leakster does have a good track record when it comes to keeping tabs on the tech giant.
