With open ear headphones sort of making a comeback, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that one more has hit the market. This time it’s by JBL, and it’s called the Sense Lite. It’s also already available, or so the brand says, but we’ll get to that in a bit.
What makes the Sense Lite stand out from the crowd, according to JBL, is its Adaptive Bass Boost Algorithm. This is to help mitigate the inherent weakness of the open ear design, which is performance with the lower frequencies. The drivers themselves are 18mm x x11mm dynamic drivers, according to its product page.
Beyond that, the JBL Sense Lite comes in an earhook design and an IP54 rating for the sporty folk. Listening time is rated at up to eight hours on their own, and up to 32 hours with the case. The company also claims that 10 minutes of charge getting you three hours of listening time. A full charge from empty to full, on the other hand, will take eight hours.
As mentioned, the JBL Sense Lite is already available for purchase, and it comes in the usual black and white colourways. It’s priced at RM599, and you can get it via the brand’s own online store, or official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
