Last month, Samsung announced the Galaxy Buds3 FE as its newest pair of budget-friendly earbuds. At the time, the company did not specify the price of the buds for the local market. Now, the brand has revealed that the earbuds will be available for purchase starting 5 September 2025 for RM499.
To recap, the successor to the original Galaxy Buds FE sports a new stem-style design to match the other Galaxy Buds3 models. The stem allows for gesture-based controls like swiping to adjust volume, and pinching to play or pause. The buds come in Gray and Black, and feature a matte dual-tone finish with semi-transparent accents. Rounding things off is an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Internally, they come equipped with bigger 11mm drivers. In addition to this, the Galaxy Buds3 FE features improved ANC and Ambient modes. For clear calls, the brand has optimised the microphone placement for better voice pickup, and introduced the AI-powered Crystal Clear Call technology.
Furthermore, the buds support Bluetooth 5.4 and Auto Switch for seamless connectivity between devices. Supported audio codecs include AAC, SBC, and SSC. Naturally, the Galaxy Buds3 FE packs some AI features, including voice commands and translation via the Galaxy AI Interpreter app.
As for battery life, Samsung claims the buds offer up to six hours of music playback with ANC enabled. The charging case stretches this to 24 hours. Meanwhile, with the feature turned off, you can extend your listening time to 8.5 hours and 30 hours respectively.
