Acer, during its Global Press Conference at IFA 2025 in Berlin, has expanded its Vero lineup with three new laser projectors: the Vero XL2320p, Vero XL2521, and Vero SL2520n. Designed with sustainability and long-term use in mind, all three models feature mercury-free laser light sources capable of lasting up to 30,000 hours, while consuming around 40% less power than traditional lamp-based projectors.
The Vero SL2520n is the short-throw option of the trio, able to project a 100-inch image from just 1.1 metres away. Meanwhile, despite sharing the same design as the XL2320p, the XL2521 offers up to 100-inch 1080p Full HD resolution projections. All three models share the same core specifications, including Full HD resolution, 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness, 360-degree projection, portrait mode, and advanced keystone correction.
They also deliver vivid visuals with 93% Rec.709 colour accuracy and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio. Each unit is equipped with a built-in 15W speaker and features tailored display modes to optimise content playback, including Football Mode for the XL2 Series and Golf Mode for the SL2520n. Connectivity options include dual HDMI ports across all models, with the SL2520n also offering Ethernet for added flexibility in networked setups.
In line with Acer’s eco-conscious design philosophy, the projectors use 50% post-consumer recycled plastic in their chassis and come packaged in fully recyclable materials. For durability, the projectors are IP6X dustproof certified and support continuous 24/7 operation, making them viable for heavy-duty commercial use.
The Acer Vero XL2320p, XL2521 and SL2250n will launch in Europe this December, priced at EUR699 (~RM), EUR899 (~RM) and EUR1,199 (~RM) respectively. The company has yet to confirm whether all three models will see a Malaysian release.
