As part of its IFA 2025 launch lineup, Acer has announced a new series of monitors under the sub-brand amadana. These are the 16APM1QJ and 27ART0 P1, with the first numbers being a rough indicator of their respective sizes. The smaller one is even being marketed as a portable monitor.
With that in mind though, the name uses a rounded up number. This is because the amadana 16APM1QJ actually measures 15.6 inches across. The screen itself has a Full HD resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 6ms GtG response time, a brightness of 250 nits, and HDR10 support. It has two internal 1W speakers, and for output it takes a mini-HDMI and two USB-C. Befitting its portable nature, it weighs in at 0.65kg, with a kick stand built in.
Moving on to the larger amadana 27ART0 P1, this is more conventional, measuring 27 inches as the name suggests. If anything though, its selling point here is its thinness and ZeroFrame design. Being larger, it can also afford to be fancier, with a dynamic refresh rate of up to 144Hz refresh rate, though resolution is still at Full HD. The built in speakers are slightly more powerful at 2W, and output options here include VGA and HDMI 1.4.
Worth noting though that if you need to look up details on these monitors, you’ll need to look up not the Acer website, but amadana’s. The reason that it’s Acer announcing them is because the Taiwanese tech company acquired the Japanese design company last year.
With all that being said, Acer says that the amadana 16APM1QJ will be available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in Q1 of 2026. And it will be priced from EUR119 (~RM596). Similarly, the amadana 27ART0 P1 will be available in the same region in the same timeframe, starting from EUR169 (~RM832). No word on when these will be available elsewhere or what their prices will be. This includes our local market, of course.
