Xiaomi has unveiled its newest smartphone in Malaysia, the POCO C85. The device serves as the latest addition to the brand’s entry-level C series and is designed to be reliable and practical for day-to-day purposes.
In terms of specifications, the phone features a 6.9-inch 720p display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 810 nits. Aside from that, it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The entire package has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Under the hood, the POCO C85 packs a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 236GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging and 10W reverse charging. The device runs Android 15 via Xiaomi HyperOS 2.
On the imaging end, the budget-friendly phone sports a 50MP main camera on the rear. Meanwhile, the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter.

The POCO C85 is available to purchase from the brand’s official online platforms including Shopee and Lazada. It comes in three colourways: Purple, Black, and Green. As for pricing, the base 6GB+128GB version retails for RM439, while the 8GB+236GB configuration costs RM499.

As part of the launch, the brand is offering the phone at a discounted price from now until 16 September 2025. During this period, customers can get the 6GB+128GB model for RM399, or the 8GB+236GB variant for RM459.
