Razer has officially announced its Kraken Kitty V3 headphone line, the gaming peripheral brand’s latest offering in the headset space. It is available in two variants, the lightweight and budget-friendly Kraken Kitty V3 X and the Bluetooth-powered V3 Pro.
The Kraken Kitty V3 X is equipped with the TriForce 40mm drivers for a “balanced and immersive audio” experience, or so the company claims. Paired alongside it is a 7.1 surround sound for added spatial awareness and in-game immersion.

When you put things in consideration, it is fairly similar to the Kraken V3 X, as both headphones are wired and come with a flexible HyperClear Cardioid Mic. Razer claims that this microphone can provide a “focused voice pickup”. The only difference between the Kraken V3 X and the Kraken Kitty V3 X is the cabling, as the latter is furnished with a universal 3.5mm audio jack compared to the former’s USB-A connection
Plus, the Kraken Kitty V3 X is said to be designed for everyday use. Hence, it only weighs 270 grams. Design-wise, it is almost reminiscent of the Kraken V4 from a distance, barring the cat ears and retractable mic.

Moving on to the Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Pro, it shares all these features plus key upgrades. Namely, these differences are its three modes of connectivity (Bluetooth 5.3, HyperSpeed Wireless, and wired USB-A), Razer Chroma-powered RGB cat ears, retractable microphone, TriForce Titanium 40mm drivers, THX Spatial Audio, and protein leatherette and memory foam ear cushions.
The Kraken Kitty V3 X is available via Razer’s official website and retailers for RM299. However, Razer said that the Kraken Kitty V3 Pro is not currently available in Malaysia at this time and does not yet have any local pricing.
