After much wait, Zeekr Malaysia has finally debuted the fully electric SUV, 7X for the Malaysian market at the iconic KL Tower. The SUV, which comes in three variants – RWD Standard, RWD Long Range and AWD Performance – has a starting price of RM179,800.
As reported before, only the Performance variant comes with the 93-inch Stargate LCD display, placed on the front fascia. Other features such as the clamshell bonnet, LED headlights, daytime running lights and full-width tail lights come as standard across all variants. However, the wheel size for the Standard and Long Range trims is 19-inch, while the Performance gets 20-inch wheels.
In terms of exterior colours, the Zeekr 7X is available in four shades, namely Crystal White, Onyx Black, Tech Grey and Forest Green. The Performance variant, however, receives a special two-tone finish in Brook Blue with a Silver Roof.
Inside, all three variants are equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 36 storage compartments, a 14-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a 10-way power-adjustable passenger seat. Neverthess, the Standard and Long Range trims feature leatherette upholstery, while the Performance variant is finished in premium Nappa leather. Futhermore, there is automatic doors which is operated by a pushing a button.
Additionally, the Long Range and Performance models are fitted with ventilated front seats with massage functions, a feature absent in the Standard trim. The entry-level model also forgoes a power-adjustable steering wheel, which is offered on the higher variants.In terms of colours, the first two varaint gets a black interior while the Performance gets a interior with a combination of Maroon and White.
On the connectivity front, the Zeekr 7X comes equipped with a 13.02-inch digital instrument cluster and a 16-inch central infotainment display, both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor. The Long Range and Performance variants further enhance it with a 36.21-inch head-up display. Audio is provided by a Zeekr 10-speaker sound system in the Standard model, while the Long Range and Performance trims are fitted with an upgraded 21-speaker setup which is also can be seen in the headrest. Across the range, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported as standard.
Powering the Standard and Long Range variants is a rear-mounted single motor that produces 310 kW and 440 Nm of torque, enabling both to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 6 seconds. The Performance trim, meanwhile, features a dual-motor setup generating 475 kW and 710 Nm, taking only 3.8 seconds to reach 0–100 km/h.
In terms of the battery pack, the Zeekr comes with two options: a 75 kW LFP battery and a 100 kW NCM battery. The LFP battery pack is equipped in the Standard variant, while the latter features in the Long Range and Performance variants. While the base model has a WLTP range of 480 km, the other two models have a WLTP range of 615 km and 543 km respectively.
All three variants are built on an 800 V architecture, enabling support for ultra-fast charging. Using a 450 kW DC charger, the Standard variant can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes. The Long Range and Performance trims, meanwhile, achieve the same state of charge in 16 minutes with a 420 kW DC charger. For AC charging, all models support up to 22 kW. A full charge from 10% to 100% takes around 4.5 hours for the Standard variant, while the Long Range and Performance versions require approximately 5.5 hours.
As mentioned above, the Zeekr 7X has a starting price of RM179,800 for the Standard variant, while the Long Range is priced at RM190,800. As for the Performance model, it comes with a price tag of RM226,800. All three variants come with five years/150,000 km vehicle warranty, eight years/160,000 km battery warranty and one year of connected service.
In conjunction with the launch, customers will also receive a 22 kW wallbox charger and solar film for the vehicle. Furthermore, Zeekr has also introduced its Customer Careline, which consists of a hotline (1300-88-6868), WhatsApp (010-849 3119) and 24-hour roadside assistance.
