Gigabyte is officially launching its Aero X16 and Gaming A16 laptops in Malaysia. First unveiled at Computex 2025, these laptops serve as the brand’s thin and light form factor laptops, as well as being Copilot+ laptops as well.
Starting with the Gigabyte Aero X16, the laptop comes with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, a 16-inch, 16:10 IPS display with a choice of FHD+ or QHD+ resolution, both with a refresh rate of 165Hz and 3ms response time. Oh, and they’re also MUX Switch Pantone Validate.

Other specifications include 16GB DDR5-5600 RAM with room for expansion, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7 discrete GPU, 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, support for Wi-Fi 6E and Blueooth 5.2, and a 76Wh battery with the promise of up to 12 hours of continuous use.
The laptop is also relatively lightweight, with a maximum weight of 1.9kg. Pricing for the Aero X16 starts at RM6,199 for the base model and RM7,299 for the top-tier SKU.
Moving on, the Gigabyte Gaming A16 trades AMD for Intel, featuring up to an Intel Core i7-13620H, up to an RTX 5070 GPU, 16GB DDR5-5600 RAM, 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and support for Wi-Fi 63 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity too. Like the Aero X16, it shares the same 76Wh battery and promise of 12-hour long use on a single charge.
Pricing for the Gaming A16 starts at RM3,399, while the highest option SKU will set you back RM6,799.
