Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup in September. As usual, there has been no shortage of rumours and leaks ahead of the launch. Multiple leaksters have claimed that some of the phones in the series will feature a redesigned camera bar. Now, it seems one of the models has been seen in real life.
A keen-eyed X user shared two pictures of a man wearing sunglasses holding two iPhones, one of which is suspected to be the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro. The device in question is wrapped in a black case that obscures most of its design elements. However, the case features cutouts for the phone’s cameras, as well as what might be the flash and LiDAR scanner.
Previously, it was said that the iPhone 17 Pro will sport a rectangular camera bump that stretches across the back panel. The device’s flash, rear microphone, and LiDAR scanner will apparently be positioned on the right side of the bump. The design of the device in the photo seems to align with the leaks.
The X user went on to note that a second individual pictured is security and was attempting to hide the phone from view. Additionally, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman shared the post to add his two cents on the matter, saying it “looks legit”.

Of course, as with any other rumour, this supposed sighting should be taken with a grain of salt. One cannot say for sure that the device pictured in the blurry images is indeed the iPhone 17 Pro. Either way, we will still find out if any of the other leaks are accurate once Apple launches the phones.
