Yesterday, we published a list of physical stores from which you can get a Nintendo Switch 2 from, with some even doing pre-orders. But if online shopping is more your style, you can also do so via e-commerce platforms Lazada and Shopee.
Regardless of which is your platform of choice though, you’ll find that prices are consistent with their physical counterparts. No real surprise, since as we reported on earlier in the year, both the official Nintendo Malaysia stores on Lazada and Shopee are operated by Convergent Distribution Sdn Bhd, one of the two official distributors. But to reiterate the two most important numbers, the Nintendo Switch 2 costs RM2,488, while getting it with Mario Kart World bundled in is RM2,688

For what it’s worth, we also took a look at the official store on both platforms that’s being run by the other official distributor, MMSoft. At the time of writing, the company does not seem to have anything that is related to the Nintendo Switch 2 on either e-commerce fronts. This may change further down the line.
The Nintendo Switch 2 gets its official Malaysian debut on 3 July, but it looks like you may not get them on said dates this way. Listings on both platforms note a 30-day shipping estimate, but Lazada’s shipping comes with a guaranteed delivery by 25 July, while Shopee provides a 21 July to 9 August range.

To reiterate from yesterday’s report, getting the handheld console hybrid through these official channels does get you a year-long warranty that allows for one-to-one replacements for manufacturing defects. Getting the Mario Kart World bundle this way also means you’re getting a Game Card with the game inside it, rather than needing you to download the game via a code.
